Alexandra was born in Montreal, Canada, but grew up mostly in Europe and the Middle East. After completing a Bachelor's in Industrial Design at the Universite de Montreal, she moved to Italy to complete a Master's degree in Interaction Design at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea in 2006.

After freelancing in Europe, she is now the CEO and Co-Founder of technology and design consultancy Tinker.it and is based in London. She blogs on designswarm, Shift6.net, Tinker.it and Tasty Thinking on a regular basis.
