it often occurs quitely, without much notice, that a particular domain has all the content that it was hosting sucked out and replaced by mock searches, misplaced advertising and empty promises of not much. at some point iin the past, the domain had been attaked by domain leeches (also leachers).

i like the image of these search aggregators as the rotting carcasses of dead sites. road-kill, pushed to the curb of the information superhighway, attracting flies with their keyword honeypots. – pix
