This is an old revision of the document!

No it's not an american-football club, it's homeless people and refugees living in the Amsterdam bushes.*

*This is how they manage: ===== Site 1. ===== In the middle of this picture is a tall office building, right below that, somebody lived in the bushes. city-nomads-05.jpg Behind this large bush on the right is this persons home. You can see it from the railway that passes on the left. city-nomads-04.jpg This is what is left of the abandoned shelter. city-nomads-01.jpg There are clothes, a roof, a video-tape, sleeping stuff and remains of food and drinks left. city-nomads-02.jpg It has been derelict for 2 years now. city-nomads-03.jpg ===== Site 2. ===== Behind this car workshop or rental place is a big site with several huts. city-nomads-14.jpg You walk along this fence. city-nomads-12.jpg You cross these planks. The ground is quite muddy. city-nomads-11.jpg And you arrive here. city-nomads-07.jpg Nobody was there, because I visited after a night of frost. city-nomads-08.jpg There are 4 huts and 2 indistinct structures like this. city-nomads-09.jpg There are lots of clothes, bikes, a very basic tree-platform and some places even have gas-bottles. city-nomads-06.jpg From the stuff that is around it is clear that there are also a number of children living here. city-nomads-10.jpg ===== Locations of both sites. ===== city-nomads-map.jpg I know about these places because you can see them when you pass in the train from Schiphol. Related: Ari Saarto After I made the pictures on site 2, I took the train to Haarlem where I came across pictures by the Finnish photographer on the same subject. In museum 'de Hallen'.
