A buzzword without clear definition. Ecopoetics is not poetry about nature or the ecological crisis but a search for ways to use language to better appreciate/understand the interconnectedness of human, animal, mind, matter and nature. Language not as an object but as a motion.

EcoPoetics is the emergent Esperanto of the imaginary === transition town nomad ===.

But that's my Mumbo Jumbo take.

The Ecopoetics Journal takes it to mean “exploring creative-critical edges between writing (with an emphasis on poetry) and ecology (the theory and praxis of deliberate earthlings)”. Which is not a definition but a program.
