Algemeen Future Thinking

Candy, S. The Futures of Everyday Life (2010) A book about designing and staging experiential scenarios – artifacts, interactions and situations that evoke a sense of immersion in the future.

Future of Futures (e-book) Book published through the Association for Professional Futurists:

Jaron Lanier. (2013). Who owns the future. Allen Lane

Stevenson, M. (2011). An optimist’s Tour of the Future Overview of different domains (organized according to scale) in which the future can play out. In general a good but superficial overview, pointing towards the different domains, key players within and a bit of history. Conclusion: change is going to happen rapidly, requires a re-boot of the mind (from thinking linear to exponential)  points towards the need to continuously re-invent one-self and ask the right questions. Curiosity might be man’s best asset to cope with change.
