Interchanging branches between wild and cultivated fruit species in the public domain by the method of grafting.
Placing cultivars on wild crop relatives could increase fruit abundance in public space.
Placing wild crop relatives on cultivars could be a method of creating a germplasm.

A first test was undertaken in 20010 at the FoAM Amsterdam garden includes pictures. The garden now also features 11 scoin propagating trees, pear, apple and plum, from which cuttings can be placed on wild trees and shrubs in Amsterdam.
