-==== From your own experience... ==== +
- +
-It has been proven time and time again that working across boundaries of discipline, culture and mindset is one of the most effective ways to find innovative solutions to seemingly intractable problems. It is also clear that with the many issues facing our planet, we will need to bridge worlds of difference in order to find places of similarity and synergy.  +
- +
-With this in mind, think of a time in your life when you worked with others from different backgrounds, disciplines or points of view, and as a result, you made a powerful contribution to the wellbeing of your family, your organisation, your community, or perhaps even the entire planet.  +

-==== What to prepare? ====
-
-The most important thing to do is to think about the topic of the workshop and the two questions: "What would a luminous green world look like (feel, taste, smell and sound like)?" and  "How can arts, design and technology help bring such a world into existence?"
-
-If you have an idea, an example, or just a hunch about possible answers, you can propose to host a session around it. The session should last between 30 to 45 minutes. They can have a wide range of formats - from discussions, experiments, visualisations, to presentations (or anything else you come up with). Whatever format you choose, the sessions should focus on one of the two questions mentioned above. Not everyone has to host a session, active participants and contributors are just as necessary!
-
-We won't prescribe how or what to prepare, as it is up to each of you to design and participate in the workshop as you see fit. Your particular approaches and visions will provide the diversity needed for the workshop to become a vibrant, self-organising system.
-
-If you are planning to host a session, please read the guidelines at [[lgsg_workshop_hosts]]
-
-==== What to bring? ====
-
-First and foremost - your curious, open-minded and motivated self. If you are planning to lead a session, bring whatever materials you might need to get your point across. If you have any texts, images, sounds or other media that can contribute to the atmosphere, bring it along! Best is to wear comfortable, casual clothing.
-
-Note that we will have a small sound system, paper-based media, but no computers, or projections. Coffee, tea, lunch and dinner will be provided.
-
-
-==== Questions? ====
-
-Don't hesitate to contact us by email if you want to discuss anything beforehand.
