Project Lyta : Phaeno

Phaeno is a science center in Wolfsburg, Germany designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. 12000 square meters in size, it will be the largest interactive science museum in Germany.

The museum will consist of innovative interactive exhibits demonstrating science and technology for children, together with laboratories for hands-on instruction. 260,000 guests are expected to visit each year.

6000 square meters of the museum will be devoted to exhibits, and a 560 square meters 260 seat learning theater, and 360 square meters forum are included, along with 285 square meters of instructional laboratories.

Construction is well underway, and the facility is projected to open in mid-2005.
