| | Pollinators/Peregrini travel to revive the vanishing ritual of pilgrimage, inspired by [[http://hermetic.com/bey/tourism.html|Hakim Bey's "Overcoming Tourism"]]. They are performers to whom travel is as important as reaching the sacred goal: they take the road as their means of expression. Pollinators prepare for a future where ethics, piousness & rituals are alive & well. The modus operandi is that of the ancient pilgrim, summoning the potential of New technologies in an Old world, travelling through inner, outer & virtual space, taking contemporary artistic practice out on the road – among people troubled by apathy & loss of control over their lives. |
