Unmanned Resilience looks at using Unmanned Aerial Systems or UAS (customarily used in media and military contexts) for persistent surveillance and orthophotography for social and cultural applications. In collaboration with local farmers and foresters, this case study aims to apply UAS in remote mountainous and rural settings. It explores different scenarios in which these technologies can be used for monitoring and maintaining productive and protected landscapes, while also providing valuable data for visualisation and analysis in tactical media works. Unmanned Resilience looks at using Unmanned Aerial Systems or UAS (customarily used in media and military contexts) for persistent surveillance and orthophotography for social and cultural applications.
