• Invite the tree to mediate and help you resolve your conflict
• Sit in silence with the tree for a few minutes
• Each person describes the problem from their perspective, pointing to the effect of other participants' actions on themselves
• Pay attention to separate facts from opinions and emotional content
• Whenever the discussion becomes too heated, one of the participants can turn to the tree and ask for help
• The conversation stops and all involved pay attention only to the tree
• After a few minutes, the conversation can resume
• Repeat for as long as needed for the conflict to reach a resolution.
