The ever-growing Libarynth is almost exactly what its name implies – a hybrid between a library and a labyrinth, a maze of pages in various stages of completion. It is a deeply intertwingled collection of documents, notes and [[randomness]] - many of which are related to [[start?do=search&id=foam|FoAM]], a network of transdisciplinary labs at the intersection of art, science, nature and everyday life. | The ever-growing Libarynth is almost exactly what its name implies – a hybrid between a library and a labyrinth, a maze of pages in various stages of completion. FoAM's collaborators, friends and sympathisers use the Libarynth as a research diary, sketchbook, or activity log. Some sections of the Libaryth are [[category_index|well structured]], others are overgrown and forgotten. Pages can be found on a variety of topics, from [[visual programming]] to [[experience_inflatables|inflatables]] or vegetarian-friendly [[restaurant guide|restaurants]] around the world, lists of [[Culture Ships]] or [[luminous/steady_state_economics|steady state economics]] or perhaps notes about [[fermentation_notes|fermentation]]. Many pages are in development, containing a few links or a couple of short notes (inviting interested wiki-gnomes to continue them). Others are more complete research reports or project descriptions. For weeks the Libarynth might be quiet, punctuated with sudden bursts of activity. It is a living archive of FoAM's interests and activities, continually changing and expanding. | FoAM's collaborators, friends and sympathisers use the Libarynth as a research diary, sketchbook, or activity log. | For some the Libarynth can be overwhelming, so we advise caution when first treading over its threshold. Once comfortable within the overgrown wilderness, you are very welcome to contribute: by starting new topics, editing existing pages, or making new connections into or out of the Libarynth itself, beyond its porous edges. |

| Here are a few relatively structured starting points: |
| * [[:/future_fabulators/start|Future Fabulators]], a project about experiential and everyday futures |
| * [[:/open_sauces/start|Open Sauces]], FoAM's repository of food-related activities, menus and recipes |
| * [[Doing Nothing]], a collection of quotes and experiments in laying fallow |
| * [[spauiz/start|Spauiz]], a subwiki filled with plant-inspired games and missions, part of the [[parn/borrowed_scenery_arn|Borrowed Scenery]] Alternate Reality Narrative |
| * Two very different fieldguides: [[:/futurist_fieldguide/start|Futurist Fieldguide]], a collection of futurecrafting techniques and the [[field_guide_to_flying_saints|Fieldguide to Flying Saints]], a speculative guide for saint spotters |
| * [[reading notes|Reading Notes]], notes from a wide range of books, from [[2312_by_kim_stanley_robinson|2312]] to [[zibaldone_the_notebooks|Zibaldone di pensieri]] |
| * [[category_index|Category Index]] or [[parn/garginz|Garginz]] for two of the many not-quite-up-to-date attempts at page classification. |
| * ... |
